Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters is a 1984 American supernatural horror comedy film directed and produced by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. The film stars Bill Murray, Aykroyd, and Ramis as three eccentric parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City. Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranisco-star as a client and her neighbor, and Ernie Hudson as the Ghostbusters' first recruit.

Aykroyd conceived the film as a project for himself and fellow Saturday Night Live alumnus John Belushi, with the "Ghostmashers" travelling through time and space in the future with magic wands. He and Ramis dramatically rewrote the script following Belushi's death and after Reitman deemed Aykroyd's initial vision financially impractical.

Ghostbusters was released in the United States on June 8, 1984, to critical and commercial success, receiving a positive response from critics and audiences and grossing US$242 million in the United States and more than $295 million worldwide. It was nominated for two Oscars at the 57th Academy Awards for Best Visual Effectsand Best Original Song (for the eponymous theme song), but lost to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Woman in Red respectively. The American Film Institute ranked Ghostbusters 28th in its AFI's 100 Years...100 Laughs list of film comedies. In 2015, the United States Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the National Film Registry, finding it "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

The film launched the Ghostbusters media franchise, which includes a 1989 sequel, Ghostbusters II; two animated television series, The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters; and several video games. A reboot starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones is set for a July 15, 2016, release

On October 6, it was announced that James DeMonaco would be back to write and direct the third film, while producers Sebastian Lemercier, Blumhouse Productions’Jason Blum, and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller would also be back. On August 3, 2015, it was announced that Frank Grillowould be returning for the sequel to play Sergeant. On September 10, 2015, more cast was announced, which included Betty Gabriel, Edwin Hodge, Kyle Secor,Joseph Julian Soria, Mykelti Williamson, and Elizabeth Mitchell

Free State of Jones is a 2016 American war film inspired by the life of Newton Knight and his armed rebellion against the Confederacy in Jones County, Mississippiduring the American Civil War. The film was written and directed by Gary Ross, and stars Matthew McConaughey, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mahershala Ali, Keri Russell andBrendan Gleeson. The film is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on June 24, 2016 by STX Entertainment.

After surviving the 1862 Battle of Corinth during the Civil War, Newton Knight, a poor farmer from Mississippi, leads a group of small farmers and local slaves in an armed rebellion against the Confederacy in Jones County. On February 25, 2015, STX Entertainment originally set a release date for March 11, 2016.In October 2015, STX pushed back the date to May 13, 2016. It was later announced in March 2016 that the date was pushed to June 24, 2016.

Suicide Squad is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics antihero team of the same name. It is intended to be the third installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is written and directed by David Ayer and stars an ensemble cast featuring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, and Cara Delevingne.

By February 2009, a Suicide Squad film was in development at Warner Bros. Pictures. Ayer signed on to write and direct in September 2014 and by October the casting process had begun. Principal photography began on April 13, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with additional filming in Chicago, Illinois, and ended in August that year.

The film is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2016, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. An early screening of the film was held on May 30, 2016 and received a positive reception from film critics and audiences

Now You See Me 2 (internationally known as: Now You See Me: The Second Act) is an upcoming American magic caper thriller film directed by Jon M. Chu. A sequelto the 2013 film Now You See Me, it stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco, with Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan, Jay Chou, and Sanaa Lathan; Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman also reprise their roles.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Even though Marvel’s version of Spider-Man only just made his minor debut inCaptain America: Civil War, we actually know a great deal about the studio’s take on the character, and their plans for his big-screen future. Spider-Man: Homecoming will be a solo Marvel movie, but likely will pull influences – and cameos – from the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe. What, then, do we know about Spider-Man: 

Marvel and Sony, which will handle distribution duties on Spider-Man: Homecoming, have set a release date of July 7, 2017. That’s actually a few weeks earlier than the original release date of July 28. There was no reason given for the date shift when it happened. What it means is that Spider-Man: Homecoming will have a weekend all to itself (for the moment), instead of facing off against Sony’s Jumanji remake, and an Untitled Disney Live-Action Fairy Tale movie.

FINDING DORY

Finding Dory is an upcoming 2016 American 3D computer-animated comedy adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is the sequel to the 2003 film Finding Nemo. Andrew Stanton, who directed the original film, will return as writer and director, alongside Angus MacLane as the co-director. The film is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2016.It has also been confirmed that characters from the first film will appear in the sequel, including Dory, Nemo, Marlin, Mr. Ray, Crush and Squirt.

Finding Dory will be focused on the amnesiac character Dory, and will explore the idea of her being reunited with her family. The film will take place six months after the events of Finding Nemo and will be set off the coast of California

KABALI MOVIE REVIEW

The film will hit about 5000 screens across the world on July 1. The makers are simultaneously releasing the film in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.

The makers have also dubbed the film in Malay to cash in the craze for Rajinikanth in the Island country. Kabali is now the first Indian film to be dubbed in the Malay language. 

The audio launch of the film is scheduled on June 11 in Chennai.
